Since being admitted to RBH twice in Sept 2017 The care and service I have received has been exceptional. My care initially was handled by the consultant and I felt completely at ease and informed about my condition and how to manage it.
Once the decision to operate was suggested I was moved to the care of another consultant. I cannot give enough praise to him. Whatever it took to decide on the plan he appeared to have all the time in the world for both myself and my wife, and in his eyes no question was too silly.
He was happy for me to ask for external second opinions and even sought these out for me.
After an 8 1/2 hour operation conducted by the consultant my aftercare was amazing. He visited me every day while in hospital and treated me as an individual and not as a process.
When I left and went home I had access to him via his secretary who again was fantastic.
I cannot recommend the whole GI team at Bournemouth and particularly the care I received from my consultant.
