After feeling ill over the weekend I phoned surgery at 8.10 asking for gp call back. At 8.49 gp rang back , reassured me and told me to contact again if needed. What more could I ask for. Thank you.

We are really pleased our telephone appointment service has worked for you. Your incident is a very good example of what a telephone triage appointment is intended for.

You contacted us feeling ill - a high level clinician called you back to triage your call and evaluate your need - on this occasion reassurance and advice was given and you did not need to attend the surgery (if after triage it was deemed that you needed to have been seen, the clinician would have offered you an appointment).

Your outcome - you were sorted on the day without further wait.
