I attended Lakeside surgery on Friday and was prescribed cocodomol for pain relief.
I mentioned side effects on take this this previously, but agreed to take them.
I have been taking the medication and now experiencing nausea and light headiness. I rang the surgery to ask if the GP could change the medication.
I was told the first telephone call would be Thursday afternoon.
I don't understand why the GP can't change the medication, having only seen her on Friday
This is not acceptable and the only option I have now is to stop taking the medication and put up with the pain..
I have been with this practise since 1954 and luckily rarely visit the surgery, but certainly see a steady decline in service .
I expect a canned response in return as this seems to be the surgeries method of Handlng hg feedback
