I had an absolutely awful experience on St Ledger ward, I felt I would have been better off going home straight after my operation!
Had to have my own painkillers after my op, which I feel was due to incompetant nursing! 2 paracetamol after a big op!
Then I was asked what I had had done? Then on leaving, I was asked whether I had dressings!!
I found it awful, still angry now!
Also I asked a nurse what did the surgeon do, they looked at notes and said they didn't know, that they couldn't read it!!
