"I don't know how I would have coped without her"

About: St Vincents / Cognitive Impairment & Dementia

(as a carer),

My husband who has Alzheimers attended St Vincents day centre 3 days a week from 2015- 2017 when I was his carer. They were unable to deal with his outbursts so I then had him 24/7 at home. he did enjoy going and doing the activities, especially singing and the staff were caring. The consultant Dr Fori was very supportive and caring towards my husband and Karen M. was my life line as I could speak to her when I found it difficult to cope. Her support up until my husband went into a nursing home in July was beyond words and I don't know how I would have coped without her. I cannot thank her enough for all she did for my husband and myself. After my husband went into nursing Marry M. was then also someone who supported me and made sure that everything was going smoothly for my husband in care. My husband is no longer under HxF so that is one chapter ended. But he is doing well and cared  for under Chelsea and Westminster. I cannot thank all the people mentioned enough I will always be grateful.
