"In praise of Amwell Street Practice"

I cannot imagine a better group practice.

I have been treated by the same superb doctor for more than twenty years. She was also my mother's doctor, and this continuity ensures not only ease and trust, but superior diagnoses: so much physical and psychological history is brought to each consultation. Her attention in each session is acute but never oppressive, so that the climate for a patient is ideal; I feel I observe better when I am reporting to her.

The surgery is airy, light and spacious. There are extremely efficient procedures for recalling patients for chronic conditions and a very efficient texting procedure for appointments. The nurses inspire great confidence. There are also some excellent receptionists.

The quality of the practice means that I would be reluctant to move out of the area.
