What I liked
accessability for wheelcair users is almost impossible even with a helper,
as:- (1) car parking facilities are very limited and footpaths are often left blocked by parked cars, and the access to the Action Heart unit is often blocked by a picnic table.
(2) fire doors are extremly heavy and un-openable from in a wheelchair, and most need two extra people to hold open.
(3) corridors or often left scattered the equipment, waiting areas are far to small for the number of people expected to by kept sitting around.
What could be improved
clarification of the trusts policy for dealing with all issues disabled accessability, especaly out side Action Heart where there is on longer a "prop-off" area avalable, and the carparking facilities for Action Heart are on the pub carpark on the other side of the main road, which means trying to negotiate steep access roads.
