On March 1st 2018 - a very snowy morning in Liphook, the day of my surgery. I phoned the switchboard and spoke to a nice friendly girl soon after 6 am, as to the weather in Guildford. She said she had just come in from Haslemere, and it was ok.
We made it to the hospital as did one particular doctor and The Team!
I was welcomed into the eye unit and found I was first on the list.
Everybody was calm and friendly, which lessened my anxiety! This doctor is delightful, as he always is on my many visits..
He talked through what was happening with the op and within 30 minutes I was back in the little recovery area with drink and biscuit!
My experience was amazing with extraordinary expertise, for which I am so grateful.
I have had no pain and no discomfort and hopefully at the end of all the many drops and my follow up appointment, all will be good. How very lucky we are to have this wonderful department, and how lucky I have been to have this doctor and his team deal with my problem. Thank you. Angela Moss.
