"Excellent standards of care and support"

My mother sadly passed away on the 20th December and, both myself and my wife, wish to express our gratitude to Vine Street Surgery for the excellent care and support provided by the team over the last five years that she lived with us in Grantham.

Whilst appreciating that everyone contributes to the superb service provided by the surgery, of special note was the exceptional contribution made by the nurse practitioner in helping us through particularly difficult periods.

At all times, and particularly towards the end of her life, they went above and beyond to coordinate and expedite appropriate care plans whilst providing great and continuing support to my wife as mum’s carer.

The nurse practitioner is exceptional in what she does and is an invaluable member of the team. For us, she made a huge difference, providing us with vital support in a professional, efficient, compassionate, balanced and pragmatic manner. We could not have asked for better.

On a personal note, having worked in the NHS for nearly 40 years, I know that the dedicated efforts of staff is often overlooked by those utilising healthcare and that there is a tendency to focus on the negatives rather than the positives. Whilst this may be the case generally, it does not apply to Vine Street Surgery where all is positive!
