About: The Essex Cardiothoracic Centre

I was admitted to the CTC after heart failure in July 2011. My life was saved and I received an ICD initially under the care of a Dr. Regular follow ups have been conducted both virtually and in person including ICD replacement. I am now under the care of a second Dr.

I could not be more content with the treatment I have received, not only from the consultants but by all the CTC staff including receptionists and cardiac physiologists. I consider that my care has been exceptional and I have been involved and consulted/advised at all stages of my treatment.
