"Speed of making appointment"

About: Good Hope Hospital

Attended for a scan for potential gallstones on 16 February 2018. Scan was thorough confirming gallstones and I was told I would be sent an appointment to see the Registrar.

It’s now 11 March 2018 and still no letter to see Registrar. The original referral to the hospital was on 6 November 2017. So with 4 months past all that has happened is a blood and scan but without results or a diagnosis.

In the meantime I have to put up with pain and worry of no diagnosis.

I have tried to Ring the surgeon's Secretary but the number is no longer on the website.

Is it so difficult to make appointments?

Extremely dissapointed with the service from Good Hope....living up to its reputation of God Hope...No Hope!

Dear Mr Hawley,

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments regarding your initial appointment at Good Hope Hospital and for speaking to me on 13th March 2018.

As discussed, I will forward your posting to the team so they are aware of your comments. You advised me of your appointment and I confirmed the exact date and that a letter will be posted about two weeks prior to the date, as confirmation.

Once again, thank you for your posting.

All feedback is important to us, whether it is negative or positive, as this helps the Trust to improve our services and make changes where necessary.

We continually strive to improve our service for all patient’s and visitors.

Best wishes

Miss J. Langham
