"Fourth time admitted .. 7 Jan 18 Feb 2018"

About: Queen's Hospital, Burton Upon Trent / Cardiology

First time admitted in October for double pneumonia + related kidney and lung complications.

Release too early and developed other fluid retention issues. Lost weight,,lack of appetite due to awful food

Readmitted due to heart issues and excessive water retention .

Fortunately on the same award. All nurses and staff ..too many to mention ..were superb,Quite at night and able to sleep.

The medical staff were-very friendly, understanding and determined to sort the issues in involved where they could. And not release me early !

One particular Doctor stands head and shoulders in my memory for his Professionalism, willingness to explain issues involved, friendliness and an overall approach that one anyone would wish a Doctor would.have.

Words cannot truly express my thanks to him .I looked forward to seeing him every day on his rounds.

The porters were always chatty and friendly

Great pity the food was still awful during my stay! AGAIN..

Dear Ed

Thank you for your lovely review, and for taking the time to share your positive experiences at Queen’s hospital. I do hope you are progressing well.

Please be assured we have shared your comments with the senior staff, who will in turn share with the staff involved with your care and treatment.

We are sorry that the Catering did not meet your expectations.

Kind regards

PALS Team
