"Bad experiences"

About: Warrington Hospital / Gynaecology

I have been admitted 3times since then end of January and I have every time had to through a&e and had really bad care given to me by nursing triage staff not listening to me or my partner and this Thursday I got told to go to a&e by the gynecologist reg on call to be seen my friend got me booked in and then had a 2 hour wait to be triage and I was very unwell and kept on lying down as I could not sit up as I was in agony and the patients in the waiting room told the reception staff and gave my name and they said she will just have to wait and when I did finally get in the nurse did not understand why I had come although I had a gp letter and then she said what is your pain score and I said 9 and she did not offer me any pain relief and I asked her could I take my own morphine and she said yes it is a good job I could tell the ward staff when I got up there but before I got up to the wàrd c20 they sent a porter to come and get me and they said are you ready and I asked where is the wheelchair and they said someone told them I could walk and can not walk long distances seen as I am disabled and walk with a stick and when I did get to the wàrd c20 I had to wait till 11.25 at night before I saw a Dr but somebody else got seen before me even though I had been waiting since 12 midday and so

I was upset and had to stay in the Dr did not write up all my regular meds that I am on and I was not given any thing to eat even though I asked the care staff on the wàrd and she did not get back to me and when I needed help to get back to my bed this carer bit my head off and did not help much I have been in and out of this ward for the last 4 years and I have nether been treated that bad and I also feel that their is not enough nursing staff to coup with the extra patients that are on the wàrd that are not gynaecology patients as a result I have had to wait and wait and still have no date for my major operation and my hole life is on hold and

I feel really let down by the Trust and I feel that the trust should stop no gynecological surgical patients having their operations on are ward and allow the consultants to do are operations as it is causing stress every time I am in and

I can not take much more I will be making a formal complaint about my care
