"Cardiac Day Stay"

I visited the Cardiac Day Stay ward in March 2018 for a routine Angiogram and spent about six hours in the department.

I can honestly say that every member of staff I saw on that day, and for the pre assessment the week before were efficient, helpful, competent and friendly.

I was put completely at ease by the information I was given and reassured by the answers to questions I asked.

The procedure itself was over in about twenty minuets and was painless, with only minor discomfort afterwards in my wrist where the catheter was placed.

I had no complications after the procedure and was discharged in time for lunch!
