"Last Appointment"

About: South Ashford Medics

On my last appointment I was given an immediate appointment when I arrived late on a Friday afternoon. I saw the doctor in minutes of arriving. He was very friendly and was able to diagnose my problem immediately explaining clearly what treatment he would be giving and how long it would be necessary to take the tablets needed to clear the infection in my big toe.

He provided me with a container into to which I was to put a toe nail cutting for testing to confirm the infection. Once confirmed I received a letter asking me to make an appointment to talk to the doctor on the phone. Unfortunately because of the bad weather I had to wait a couple of days.

The doctor did however phone me during appointed agreed time period and advised the test was positive and he had a prescription waiting for me to collect at the adjoining Pharmacy.

Overall I was impressed, on this occasion, with how I was treated.

I am very pleased that you had this level of personal service and the the practice was able to quickly, efficiently and in an ongoing way deal with your medical issue.

The practice is actively trying to improve patient satisfaction and all of our clinicians will be taking more time to listen to, engage with and explain to our patients about any treatments or actions or inactions that are necessary. We are also encouraging any patients to ask the clinician if they do not understand and want any further explanations.

I would encourage you and any other patients who read this feedback to please do keep leaving feedback as we value all feedback and look for any learning to improve our service to our patients.
