We went to children’s A and E around 5 am there was no one there waiting. Our son was vomiting having breathing problems and crying of a stomach ache. They put him in an observation room with some liquid to take. Throwing up and stomach pains persisted but the doctor who was supposed to attend to him kept saying he would come in a couple of minutes for a good 2 hours he didn’t attend to him. We asked if they could give him something for the tummy ache and the nurse said she would come with it and she never came back. After being there until 9.30 we just asked to leave as we saw that the staff were clearly not interested in helping us instead we just had to keep sitting. They said oh yeah if you want to go it’s ok you can just go with the doctor who had said he would come not bothering to offer an explanation. So we left without further treatment and may just go to Loughborough walk in where he has been attended to before with much better care and speed.
"Better to go to Loughborough than bring a child..."
