"fantastic staff"

About: The Queen Elizabeth Hospital / Maternity

had a long labour ending in emergency c section, but midwives and doctors made it as low stress as possible! felt very involved in all decisions and well informed of what was happening, and my preferences were taken into account.

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments about your experience of having your baby in our Maternity department. It is good to hear that even though your labour and birth were more complicated than you would have wished, you felt supported and assured and that the staff listened to your preferences and included you in decision-making about what was right for you and your baby. I hope that you have recovered from what was obviously a difficult labour and birth and that your baby is doing well. I will share your kind comments with the staff on Delivery Suite and I am sure that they will be pleased to know that you felt that they provided safe and supportive care.
