"Pleasant experience"

I begun the day with anxiety - I was due to have my first ever general anaesthesia/day surgery procedure and was quite nervous and almost wanted to cancel. However I had a great experience; absolutely nothing to worry about. I was called in to the ward very promptly after my admittance time, and then called into theatre shortly after - no waiting around. The GA was painless and the procedure was over quickly. Nurses were supportive, efficient and attentive. The staff worked as a team that communicated well. Everyone was kind and caring, I felt like I was in safe hands. The ward room was clean and I felt like my belongings were safe. Highly recommend. Only (minor) negative is a poor selection of food for day patients, especially if you’re vegan as there aren’t any options for you
