I have been part of this practice ever since since my birth in 1947 & have rarely found it wanting.Apparently as a fairly young baby, I had Broncho -Pneumonia & obviously was very ill. My mum used to always tell me how lucky we were to be with this practice as they managed to get me well again(.They had waited a very trying 18 years for me, so this was very understandable)
Since then I've had lots & lots of extremely good care, probably an awful lot more than a lot of other people. After my son's birth in 1975 ( when apparently I was stitched badly) I had a lot of peri-anal abscesses, most of which had to be surgically drained. I'm sure the practice staff must have got fed up seeing me but there was no sign of it.
I've now got asthma, diabetes & osteo-arthiritis in both knees and an ankle.Since the late 90's I've also had mental health problems and one of the practice doctors was able to help ( along with my Psychiatrist) to get me early retirement from my teaching job which was slowly killing me.
Over the years I've been with a number of doctors & I cannot fault the care & compassion I've received. My recent problems have nearly always been connected with my chest or asthma & I am so grateful for all their help
Recently my husband has had two kinds of cancer & things were moved swiftly on & his care was exemplary. i cannot thank everyone in the practice too much.
