I asked my GP to refer me for treatment for chronic back pain in August 2009.
I am still waiting for a caudal epidural injection 22 months later - not to cure the back pain but to find out which nerve is causing the problem.
I was under the impression that treatment was given in 16 weeks under the guidelines. I am beginning to suspect that I will die of old age before I am actually treated for this unbearable, constant pain.
