"Excellent staff"

About: Tameside General Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

The staff were excellent considering the low morale due to working long shifts and staff shortage. The food was below standard. The doctors kept me informed and up to date as what was happening to me.

Thank you for posting these comments.

I cannot pass these on as I do not know which ward you were on. The staff on some wards work long shifts and have chosen to do so – maybe the ward you were on had chosen this shift pattern.

Medical staff information giving is very important and I am glad you were kept up to date.

Kind regards

Philip Dylak

Director of Nursing

Would you like to help the hospital to improve its services further? We are currently looking for patients and carers to become involved in a development called “Patient Stories”. We want to know more about our services from the point of view of those who received them – what was good, bad, what could be improved, what should be changed. Want to know more about what’s involved?

Please contact Philip Dylak, Director of Nursing at philip.dylak@tgh.nhs.uk
