"Quart into a pint pot"

I had a nasty painful abscess.My doctor rang the hospital at 09:20 and told I could be seen at Whiston at 10:30.I went to ward 4B.I was exceptionally well looked after.I saw everybody I needed to see and was ready for surgery by 12.00.My only problem was waiting for a operating theatre slot and bed.I had the procedure the following morning and we allowed home that evening.

The staff kept me informed and made me comfortable while I waited for a bed.They did everything they could with the limited resources available to them.

I cannot thank them enough.Excellent service.
