Tuesday I had half my Thyroid removed. From the moment I had my first consultation, to the removal of the left side of my Thytoid, treatment has been excellent. Fantastic care when I was not too good on waking, I stayed in recovery until well enough to go to the ward. I was checked every half hour, and witnessed the exceptional care and empathy given to an elderly patient with dementia. The ward was clean, nonstop cleaning, and the food was good.
