I was in urgent need of an appointment and couldn't understand why there was no option to book a time-slot to see a doctor online. I therefore went down to the centre at 8:45am, who informed me that the way I can get an appointment is by filling out a long form online which I had to keep changing my answers for anyway because it kept telling me I needed urgent medical assistance. I don't understand how I couldn't get a same-day appointment despite the fact that there were 6 doctors in the building and 2 patients waiting to see them. I would happily have waited up to an hour considering I nearly collapsed on the way over. It then took a day and a half to be contacted by a doctor who was rude. I am utterly disappointed with the turnaround time of being contacted and the way I was treated, the tone the doctor used felt like he was telling me off. The doctor who spoke to me was from a different practice on Fulford Road, but my issue is that it should not be so difficult to get in touch with someone when you are so desperate for help.
