"Wonderful place, wonderful staff"

I attended the East Surrey Hospital Endoscopy Suite for my Colonoscopy.

I had had colonoscopies over several years following Bowel Cancer.

This was my first visit to this Hospital in their Endoscopy Dept.

I found the staff delightful and very calming, especially when I discovered that unlike my past colonoscopies I wasn't to be fully sedated!!! This alarmed me but I was given a full explanation of why the procedure had changed and warned of any discomfort that I may experience. I have to say that the procedure was just fine and discomfort minimal. I will have to repeat this procedure in the future but I will have zero fears following the treatment given to me at the East Surrey Hospital. Wonderful place, wonderful staff. I owe them all a very big THANK YOU!
