"childrens accident and emergency"

About: Lister Hospital / Accident and emergency

having finally arrived at childrens a&e after being directed to two wrong departments, there attitude to my sons injurys was questionable (burns) and they refused my child any treament. I would advise against questioning there decision as they will refer you to social services. My child now recovering well thanks to Chelmsford Hospital (childrens burns unit). Social Services have now been in touch and want to interview my 5year old after all he's been through!

Thank you for your review Andy. We're sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your experience of children's A&E and we'll make sure your feedback is shared with our senior colleagues in the department. If you experience any issues in future, we would highly recommend getting in touch with our patient advice and liaison service (PALS), who are there to support you and try to resolve any issues quickly: http://www.enherts-tr.nhs.uk/patients-visitors/advice-and-support/pals/
