"Never will return to Warrington Hospital"

About: Warrington Hospital / Gynaecology

Had the worst experience at Warrington Hospital Gynaecology Ward. Firstly I having a uncomfortable procedure to treat CN3 and the removal of part of my cervix. The consultant nurse who was to carry out the procedure was very rude and uneasy, she repeatedly shouted at my to "relax" and "keep still" and "lift your pelvis" Did not make me relaxed or feel comfortable. her bedside manner was completely missing. This may be a every day procedure for her to carry out but for me it was my first time and she should have been a lot more courteous about that. Not only that when I asked to stop and allow my fiancé to come and hold my hand (which I had already been told was allowed) I was looked at with such disgust and replied with "absolutely not no men allowed in this area".. 1. He is MY fiancé and had MY permission and its MY body 2. this doesn't exactly support gender equality. He was also made to feel uncomfortable for even entering the room. Its disgusting.

I was completely rushed had no time to even get my head around what was about to happen to me, the consultant did not explain what was going to happen or about the aftermath of it all, she just handed me a sheet of poorly printed paper and said "you can go now I will call you with results".. Results to what, I'd have known if she took 5 minuets to tell me. .. National Health Service more like No Help Service.

If I ever have to have this or any other hospital required procedure I will not be going to Warrington Hospital and I will advise my friends and family to do the same.

I suggest that Warrington Hospital retrain their staff on bedside manner and just manners in general. Really bad experience at this hospital. !!!
