Today I attended the practice for a Vit B12 injection. The nurse practitioner I saw was very kind, smiley, and very thorough.
Took the time to look at detail in my records, and then added some further blood tests to those ordered earlier.
I still have about a month to go of taking the course of folic acid tablets I was prescribed back in December (ashamed to say that I've forgotten to take them on several occasions).
Nurse explained best to leave getting blood tests done until I've finished the course of folic acid. This is very useful information for me, as I am more or less housebound, so to have to repeat tests would be difficult for me.
Nurse very friendly and made me feel comfortable and confident to ask questions. Gave me all the time I needed and never made me feel rushed.
Injection not painful really, just felt like a bit of pressure in my arm.
