"Efficient and Kind"

I haven’t visited a GP in a while as I often find the whole experience stressful. However my experience at Grovesner Medical today diminguished those fears.

I saw a Doctor who was welcoming and kind. She really listened to my needs and was efficient in the next steps we would take. She took care to explain exactly what would happen in the coming weeks.

After my appointment I had to speak to the ladies at reception to arrange a blood test being taken. The kinds ladies at reception managed to book me in the same day for a blood test which saved me the journey again and also another day off work.

The highlight of my experience had to be the nurse who took my blood.

She was very considerate about my irrational fear of needles and she allowed me to lie down. The whole process was over in minutes. Her kind attitude and personable skills really made me feel at ease. That was the first time I came away from an encounter with a needle not feeling faint.
