"Do not call if you want to see a doctor."

About: Cranbrook Medical Practice

Having phoned the NHS helpline, i was told to see my doctor as i might have a kidney infection or prostate cancer and a simple blood test would clear it up. trying to get through to the surgery by phone took 2 attempts, the first i was on the phone for 10 minutes, until someone cut me off, i rang again, got an answer but was told i would be 3 days before i could get a doctor to telephone me, and then see me if found needing.

We’re sorry to hear that on this occasion we failed meet your expectations. If your call was inadvertently cut off we can only apologise. Unfortunately, as a result of circumstances beyond our control, we only had one member of reception staff yesterday and, what is more, were still playing catch-up after the medical centre was unable to open last Friday, as a result of the snow. Should you so desire the practice manager will be only too happy to discuss your concerns further as and when you visit the surgery for the appointment you have booked.
