"Very poor service"

About: Stafford Medical Group

In October this year I was sent a letter by locking castle medical centre informing that due to new NHS guidelines they were stopping my drugs. I have had cancer and am 7 years post op. I have rang the survey twice to find out what the guidelines for the drugs take are been promised twice someone will ring you back guess what yep no phone call back. I have found out from the Macmillan nurse that I am entitled to drugs but not the type I was taken. So if I can find out why did the surgery not advise me that an alternative is available not knowing the information has been stressful I have been with surgery for 10 years and quite frankly I have had enough of the poor service from the surgery. I have to provide a blood sample 6 monthly try to get an appointment is like trying to win the lottery I have given up and now go to Weston General to have my blood taken it's far quicker. The staff when you try to book an appointnent quizz you or should I say interrogate you as to why you want an appointment quite frankly it's none of their business. I am currently seeking a new surgery as it has become so bad at locking castle surgery. I never normally complain but enough is enough
