My husband knee went on Sunday so we went to A&E which was very busy. Firstly the reception staff who help us was very pleasant, helpful and always smiled. When ever I asked a question always went the extra mile to find out the correct information.

We then see a doctor who could see my husband was in a lot of pain. Within 20 mins my husband had bloods, medication and sent for x-ray. He then was moved to a ward where the very next day had an operation on his knee.

Even though A&E was extremely busy with ambulance back up they managed very well also the staff on the ASU was very good and worked hard, and shopland ward.

With the health service in the way it is I can't complain my husband got treated ok he had a wait but the outcome is fantastic. I take my hat off to all the staff as they do an amazing job and through it all keep smiling.

A big well done to you all and thank you.
