"Calling for over an hour and still cannot get..."

About: Market Hill 8 to 8 Centre

I can appreciate that surgeries can get busy over the phone line, but I am appalled that I have been trying to call today for well over an hour, literally over 100 times, since 07:58 and it is now 09:08 and still no luck in getting through just to book an appointment to see a doctor.

Don't get me wrong, the doctors and reception staff are fine when you've been seen. But just to get an appointment over the phone, is almost non-existence. I have never experienced this with any other surgeries.

Looking at the review ratings, I can see most of it is the same reason as mine, not being able to get an appointment over the phone, and I'm not surprised that this surgery has had very low ratings indeed.

I am upset and feel like wanting to swap surgery, especially one with a much higher rating than this one. It is a shame, because I do like the friendly staff and helpful GPs.

And no, I won't be calling your surgery to discuss matters with a practice manager, on the very same number I cannot get through on.
