What I liked

My Father was an inpatient recently for seven weeks and received very high quality care the majority of the time. As a family ,we were overal very impressed with the consistency of professional care on all levels and received from qualified and unqualified staff alike. The food was fabulous and much appreciated by my Father who had had a bad experience previously at another hospital in the Trust.

The friendliness of all of the staff to both my Father and various members of the family that visited on a daily basis made his stay and eventually sadly his death, a much easier experience to cope with.

Many of the HCA,s should be especially be congratulated on delivering high quality care with patience and respecting dignity at all times.

What could be improved

A phone in the room would have been helpful.

Anything else?

Edenbridge Hospital has restored my faith in the ability to provide good,patient focussed, quality care even with staff shortages as is so often the case.
