Yes, you may need to book an appt some weeks in advance, but if it's an emergency, there's always A&E. The staff and doctors here are all excellent and seem to be overworked if anything. I've seen many over the years and bearing in mind the constraints they work under - they do amazing work. On one occasion, quick action, referring me to A&E probably saved my life as i was drinking myself to death from bereavement/depression and i found AA. In remission for a rare cancer now, but much stronger as a result of AA. Doctors can only do so much. Lifestyle, personal choices and consequences are peoples' responsibility. Life isn't always fair re social inequality etc but a positive attitude tends to keep illness away. Just my view anyway. But some of these reviews are just so unfair. I'm certainly glad i've paid, continue to pay a lot of tax over near 30 years. The NHS is a fantastic organisation. Just be kind then....
"Great service"
