"Absolutely Fantastic, Incredibly pleased..."

About: William Harvey Hospital (Ashford)

What I liked

It was the first time that I've been placed to sleep and having a tooth removed but It was probably the best visit I've ever made anywhere in correlation to dental work. The staff were absolutely brilliant. I was talked through everything and it wasn't over complicated, I was given regular updates of what was happening next, what to expect, excreta. I generally dealt with the same people even though it was two different departments, I think the general day hospital and the maxillofacial unit, best of all they seemed to recognise me, saying hi when I'd walk through the hall or asking me how I was feeling. There was never a time when I was neglected which I am thankful for.

What could be improved

It was a long waiting time at the start as we got there at eight and the operation was around 11:30, I think. However this was including my assessment and changing my clothes. Plus I was informed of this prior to my visit and understand why this was so.

Anything else?

I couldn't recommend them highly enough even though I had to stay there from 8 to 3:30.
