About: University Hospital Wishaw / Respiratory Medicine (Ward 7)

(as the patient),

Recently, I spent 12 days in Ward 7 after a rough period with my asthma and being unable to catch my breath. In the outside world I am Performance Improvement Project Manager working across the NHS(U.K.) and have been in several hospitals recently reviewing the service which is provided. 

What I would like say is that the staff on Ward 7 are amazing, so caring, empathetic, and go above and beyond what is expected. Whilst I was in the Ward, all staff especially the nursing and care assistants kept the mood high and actively supported all the patients, even the ones, who I feel, didn't deserve it.

Again I would like to reiterate that all the staff were fantastic and I can't praise them high enough, thank you.

I am sorry that you experienced an exacerbation of your asthma that required an in -patient stay and I hope you are recovering well.
