What I liked

I was on a ward which has a very strong an compassionate team who did everything they could to make me feel comfortable for my lengthy stay in hospital while I went through a thorough disagnosis process to find why I was in pain.

I was informed every step of the way why I was being sent for each test and was informed of the process and the outcomes.

I was visited by my consultant everyday and by her team to follow up on discussion we had during the visit.

The nursing and support staff were very supportive and sensative to my situation and needs.

The accommodation on the ward was great, very clean (house staff cleaned every day and tidied up teice a day with regular bin emptying).

Upon leaving the hospital 16 days later I received a letter giving me an update on my condition and a call from my doctors to follow up. This hospital does not forget about you after you have left.

What could be improved

A lot of work has obviously been done on the food and the menu has a great variety for you to choose from but still lacks a little in the flavour and appeal.

Anything else?

I would encourage everyone to use this hospital.
