"Constantly let down"

About: Dr Ma Sims' Practice

Since changing to this practice having moved to the area last year, I have been let down time and time again by Dr Sims's Practice. The staff on reception are rude and are constantly rushing you off the phone and making you feel like a burden to them. You cannot get an appointment for weeks. Having eventually been seen and referred, nothing is followed up and no referrals are ever actually made despite chasing. For example, an X ray request and physiotherapy. My smear test causes me anxiety and panic attacks. The appointment was made incorrectly which meant a delay of a further week, when I attended after the week of waiting I was told there was no appointment made for me and no nurse available. I was turned away. I waited another week for another appointment. I eventually had my test. 1 month on and I have waited double the length of time for my results that is expected, only to be told by the receptionist when I called that there are no results on my record and to call the Health Authority. It was even too much for the receptionist to provide me with a number and I was told to 'google it'!! I have a history of cervical cancer in my family and this whole issue is a huge worry for me, made so much worse by such poor experiences at this practice!
