Suffered a heart attack at home, which was quickly diagnosed by the paramedic and I was relieved to hear those words “we are taking you straight to Leeds” as I regarded it as the best place to be. I was admitted straight to the Angiography Suite for angioplasty and stent insertion, then to the Coronary Care Unit (I think it was ward 19).
From the initial phone call to transfer back to my local hospital I found the care seemless and of the highest quality. I felt very safe at all times and was kept informed of my care. Staff were polite and professional.
Extremely happy with every aspect of my treatment. Thank you
