"Prompt treatment"

About: Royal Bolton Hospital / Ophthalmology

I was referred to the ophthalmology department by my optician. The Consultant who initially treated me was very professional and reassuring. I was diagnosed as having a herpes virus in my left eye.

She prescribed drops and tablets at a high dosage to “aggressively “ tackle the virus.

I had a further appt a week later to check progress and was reassured.

On my 3rd appt today with another consultant I was discharged as the virus had completely cleared up largely thanks to the prompt diagnosis and treatment. Thanks to all concerned.
