I recently sprained my ankle and was given an air walker to help me walk. To be honest it was only worn to actually leave the hospital and get me home.
2 weeks later I returned the air walker only to be told that this would now be thrown away as it could not be given to another patient. In this current economic climate, I found this amazing.
I have no idea where it does actually end up but I certainly hope that it is not the bin.
If anyone does have the answer I would be interested in hearing it.
