"Mental health worker comments"

About: Eastbourne District General Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as a service user),

Visited the A&E department last year after attempting to end my life. I had been experiencing a mental health crisis. The doctors in A&E were great and fine with me. I was treated as an individual, with dignity.

Now the mental health worker on the other hand couldn't have made matters any worse. The doctor had phoned the crisis team to come and see me, to which I heard them say ''ugh, she is a HORRIBLE girl'' something something.

They never did come. The doctor shouted at them down the phone and came back to sit next to me. The doctor proceeded to  ask me if they are always this awful to which I replied that I would rather go home against medical advice and have no follow up.

The doctor really didn't want to let me go but mental health think i'm a 'horrible girl' which.. 1 year later... i'll continue to remember. Never again
