Following a visit to my G.P on the 1st February,an urgent referral was made to the Gynaecology outpatients department.
I was given an appointment for 20th February.
I was seen on time by a Registrar. Following a lengthy conversation in which my medical history was discussed in depth, the registrar said that he would like to take advice from a senior colleague. A short while later , both staff returned and explained in full, their views and recommendations.Throughout the whole process
I was treated with respect and courtesy. I was listened to and given the time to ask questions.Nothing was a 'bother'. At the end of the consultation, the next steps were explained.I was reassured by their explanations and impressed that everything was being done to give me a full picture of my condition.I felt in 'safe hands'
I cannot express how grateful I am to have received such excellent and professional treatment. I left the hospital fully informed. I could not praise the doctors I saw highly enough, I could not have received better treatment. An excellent example of how good the NHS can be, even in the middle of winter, in a busy clinic. Thank you so much.
