About: John Radcliffe Hospital

(as a service user),

I received outstanding care throughout my consultant-led antenatal appointments, through the birth (on delivery suite), and on the postnatal ward for 8 days. My baby needed care and intervention when he was born, and I was very impressed with the care he received and the support given to myself and his father during his stay on the high dependency unit. The communication on his progress was fantastic, I was kept fully informed and any questions I had were answered patiently and with sensitivity. 

My interactions with a wide range of different staff on the postnatal ward were excellent - I was given help when I needed it with breastfeeding and expressing milk, and some staff really went above and beyond. 

I'll always be grateful for the care we all received at the JR.

Thank you very much for taking the time to write this feedback. It's great to hear that you have had such positive experiences both on the Delivery Suite and the High Dependency Unit at the John Radcliffe.

It is particular great to hear that the communication between staff and you and your family was so consistent and supportive.
