"Super star staff."

I am writing in praise of the medical staff at Kingswood Health Centre following my recent running injury during my training for the Manchester Marathon (which is in five weeks time).

I needed a GP referral so that I could claim physiotherapy on my health insurance, but really did not have the cheek to ask for an emergency appointment which I explained to the lady who took my call. There were no routine appointments available at short notice because it's winter, but rather than just give up, she instead sought to solve my problem by looking at alternative options, in the end suggesting a telephone appointment for today. This lady was courteous and helpful and explained everything efficiently.

I have just got off of the telephone with a doctor who knew the reason I needed the appointment (which sounds obvious, but this is not always the case), efficiently dealt with my issue with friendly good humour and sent me through a referral letter within 2 minutes of the call ending. This was also accompanied by a call from reception to let me know it had been sent.

I am so pleased that this has been such an easy process because I was worried about having to take too much time out of my training. Because of the friendly efficiency of your team I can see the Physio and crack on. All of this on a day when the majority of England did not make it to work.
