I was admitted to QCCH on Friday, 23 February with BP very high. The ladies in triage were so great and caring, midwife and support staff.
Was moved to labour ward for close monitoring and the midwife who sat with me and kept reassuring me that I will be ok. The doctors were so wonderful, one holding my hand as they explained the plan of care.
Sadly, we lost our son on Saturday 24th but the care I continued to receive helped me pull through the toughest moments. The doctor, midwife and support staff plus all the other staff members were so caring during the time when everything was a blur. The midwife came back to see me at the labour ward and I was so moved by her compassion and care.
Had to go through the whole labour process and the midwives who took care of me while trying to stabilize my BP and make the whole process bearable treated me with so much care, love and respect. I honest don’t know how I would have pulled through without their support.
The bearevement midwife, I don’t know how you do it but God bless you for the job you do.
There are not enough Thank You’s we can say for the care we received. I saw first hand how hard the hospital staff are working and yet showing so much passion in what they are doing.
God bless you all and keep doing an amazing job. Only wished it was a happier visit to the hospital.
"Deeply touched and forever grateful by the care..."
