I recently found a lump on my tonsil and after my routine dental check up was advised I needed to see a doctor. I was seen the very next day, had an ENT appointment within the week and my tonsils removed within 10 days, I have to say the speed was exceptional albeit very concerning but luckily although abnormal my results showed no sign of cancer.
I can not thank the NHS personnel I received care from enough, put my faith back in the system completely. The hospital was clean, staff helpful, friendly but professional and really looked after me.
