What I liked

I was admitted to this hospital last March via A&E with acute post op complications arising from an operation carried out at another hospital. Everyone from the paramedics to the ward staff of the hospital are to be highly commended for all the care given to me during this time. I cannot thank them enough.

I was seen swiftly in A&E and after tests and treatment admitted to Ward 1 overnight where they dealt with my immediate needs. I must thank both of these departments for their care and patience during what was a very traumatic time for me. I was later transferred to Ward 3 and was there for a week for further treatment and recovery. The nursing staff on Ward 3 were great and so cheerful and willing to help, they treated me with respect and compassion.

My thanks go to the consultant and his team, Sister and all the nursing staff of Ward 3, and the housekeeping and cleaning staff too. I would like to give a special mention to the ward cleaner who kept the ward exceptionally clean and tidy on a minute to minute basis.

I have no complaints about this hospital, the care given, the food or cleanliness, rather the opposite. I would like to thank everyone who helped me during my stay there. I am now fully recovered and cannot thank them all enough.
