"Unable to build rapport or listen"

I have only been with the surgery since the start of the year and initially, I thought they were great. Sorted my smear and abnormal results very well.

However, all that changed very recently.

I am 25 and up until very recently would deem myself to be healthy. I have been suffering for the last 9 weeks with numerous headaches, floating black bits in my eyes, ear ache, dizziness, sore throat, insomnia, loss of appetite etc.

The doctors have fobbed me off with every excuse possible. I have been in atleast 4/5 times in those 9 weeks. I know my body and I know I am not well.

All they have done is refer me to see an eye specialist (even though I have been to an optician who said my vision was fine) and I found out there was a 13 week wait.

The doctor I saw yesterday basically said tough, if you don't like it go private... they might be able to afford that but as someone who has their own mortgage I would struggle with those funds!

All I asked was that they refer me to ENT or neurology and I would stop bothering them but it seems as if I asked for a million pounds!!

Yesterday I was told I had 5 minutes and to make sure I only discussed one problem - when I mentioned along with the above I have had 2 kidney infections and a current chest infection they snapped 'You will need a second appointment to discuss that'.

If your illness isn't black and white they won't give you the time of day! Telling them you feel like death, aren't driving or attending work full time isn't good enough!
